The Children's Challenge is especially for the under 15's. So whether you are 4 or 14, a budding Laura Muir or Mo Farah, come and give it a go.
The race starts at 4.00pm, before the main adult event so if your mum or dad are running the Timberhonger 10k they can watch you run too. The finish is at the front car park where you can check your time on the big digital race clock and pick up your medal.
There are three age categories - under 8s, 8 to 10s, and 11 to 14s, with prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd boy in each category. Everyone who finishes will get a special Carnival medal, specially made for the Children's Challenge.
The route is an unmeasured course of approximately 800m for the under 8s and 1500m for under 15s held entirely within Sanders Park. Click here for a map.
Entries will open on Sunday 19th March.
Entry fee is £6.
