History

2026 will be the 21st year of the Timberhonger 10K road race, so called as most of the route is on Timberhonger Lane. Over the years the race has become well known for its friendly atmosphere and picturesque course including the now infamous hill.

The Course

The route has an accurately measured 10K course certificate. It is picturesque with a couple of testing hills and is suitable for both first timers and more experienced runners. The route starts at the Bromsgrove end of Timberhonger Lane on Whitford Road, then makes its way down Timberhonger Lane for approximately 3K before two 2K loops round Berry Lane and Newhouse Lane, before returning back up Timberhonger Lane to Sanders Park. The race finishes with a run across the parking field to the finishing line near the front car park. All roads will be closed to traffic for the duration of the race. CLICK HERE TO SEE THE ROUTE
