TIMBER TRAILS

NEW FOR 2026!
Join us in Bromsgrove countryside for a thrilling trail running adventure. It’s mostly off-road with stiles, kissing gates, fields and woodland.
There's a couple of small sections on the quiet roads around Timberhonger Lane (no road closures).
This is a fairly challenging 6.5 mile route, starting and finishing at Sanders Park, Kidderminster Road, Bromsgrove.
Date & Location
Timber Trails is on Sunday 5th July 2026. Start & finish at Sanders Park, Kidderminster Road, Bromsgrove B61 7JP.
Registration & Start Time
Registration is onsite and open from 8am. Here you will receive your run number which you must wear visible on your front. There will be a short run brief at the start line. Start line assembly at 9.15am for a 9:30am race start.
Hydration
Volunteers
There is a water station at mile 3 and after the finish line. Do not discard any plastic bottles or gel wrappers etc on the route. We recommend that you bring your own hydration.
Toilets
The event couldn't take place without the support of our amazing volunteers. There are several roles available so please contact us if you'd like to become part of the team.
Dogs
There are toilets at the park by the cafe. These are approx 600 metres from registration and the start/finish line.
Yes, but only one dog per runner and they must be on a lead and away from livestock at all times. Some of the stiles have “dog doors”, many don’t, so if your dog isn’t particularly agile the route may not be appropriate. Please make sure you have poo bags and dispose of them responsibly.
Parking
Free car parking is available within Sanders Park. There will also be a large free car parking field open on the day just off Whitford Road by Echells Close.
What3Words: mixed.cloud.hammer. If you live in & around Bromsgrove please consider walking or jogging to the park.
Medals & Results
All finishers will receive a medal and an official time. Results will be published on our website and Facebook page within 48 hours.
Bag Drop & Changing
There are no bag drop or changing facilities provided. The car parks are very close to the start & finish line.
Age Limits
All runners must be 15 years of age or over.
Refunds
No refunds, defers or transfers are available.
Food & Drink
The park cafe is currently closed. We will have water and sweets at the finish line.
The Course
Most of the route is off-road in countryside nearby Timberhonger Lane. It is a picturesque route with a number of testing hills, suitable for both first timers and experienced runners. The route starts in the large field at Sanders Park, with runners making their way along Whitford Road, before turning right onto countryside public footpaths. Arrows and marshalls will guide participants around the 6.5 mile course, before returning back to Sanders park and the finish line. There are a couple of short road sections around the quiet Timberhonger country lanes. They will be open to traffic for the duration of the race. CLICK HERE FOR THE ROUTE GPX FILE
